Introduction

 Maha ganapathaye namah

Lakhs of devotees visit shabarimalai every year during the mandala period of 41 days when the holy temple remains open to facilitate the darshan of Shree dharam shastha in maha yoga peetham as chinmudra dhari blessing his  devotees with their samsarik (materialistic) wishes as well as mukthi phala (ultimate liberation of one's soul) and millions of devotees witness the lord as makara Jyothi , the forest fire for agnyana (if one surrenders himself to that) but little do the people belonging to the humongous crowd know the following which many of you also might not be knowing that

- Dharma shastha  a manifestation of Shree maha shastha is just one form of the many avatars of the lord.

- Ayyappa Swamy is a recent charecter in the Kerala history who is believed to be an avatar of Shree manikantha who in turn is a manifestation of the lord maha shastha .

- there are 108 temples in Kerala dedicated to the lord by parashu Rama and few other temples in states of tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh .

- scholars like adi Shankara bhagavathpada , appayya dikshithar and many others have done beautiful stotras on the lord.

- there is a manuscript which contains the words spoken by the lord himself to the king rajashekhara Pandya of the Pandya dynasty when he was in his manikantha Avatar which has recently been brought into light by Guru ji Aravind Subramanyam as bhoothanatha geetha.

- there are 8 main forms of the lord as ashtha shastha according to a manidasa a great devotee of the lord and a tamil poet.

There will be no fullstop if the lord's vibhavam which is alien to many if continued, which is why this blog is being created so as to share whatever knowledge I possess with the grace of my guru and the lord .

All I expect from this work of mine is achanchala bhakthi on the bhagavan's divya padas and little satisfaction that my bhagavan's glory is being sung by some more followers of sanatana Dharma for which I have been the ink inside the pen in lord's lotus like hands . 🙏
